★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My must eat place in Tainan . This store is very famous for the shrimp rice . Normally you can find lots of people , including the locals lining up to dine inside the restaurant . They do have lots of seats , but you still need to wait a while in line because the shrimp rice here is just too awesome

The shrimp rice has a very nice Benito flavor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here for the 蝦仁飯 and it did not disappoint. Local equivalent to a prawn risotto. Very flavorful and shrimps are springy. Other dishes are just mediocre sidekicks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My second time there. The shrimp rice is still good. I would describe it as not a fried rice but a drier version of a shrimp risotto. I order the duck soup the last time which was a bit sweet and an udon style bonito soup. I ordered the gooey duck egg today but it was unfortunately not good that half cooked. Sigh.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the must try food in Tainan. The shrimp fried rice is nice. The fried duck egg also not bad. The clam is fresh. It is recommended to dropby if you visit Tainan. And their price also reasonable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Walking down the street, I was pleasantly surprised at the setting of the shop. Nice and clean. Air conditioned shop. Simply make your choices on the menu, pay for the food at the cashier and head back to your table to await to be served. The star was to be the shrimp rice. I do say it was really fragrant. But once I dug in, I wasn't too impressed. The shrimp were mushy. Makes me wonder if this particular dish was supposed to be as such?

Cash only. The dining area have two doors, one on the front and the other in the back.
