★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here and ordered one red bean and one cream. These are made fresh and are nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They aren't too sweet. There is a menu with English and pictures but ordering is done on a sheet of paper in Chinese only.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fortunately, there wasn't a line ahead of me to get my hands on one of these beauties. One is spoilt for choice with the numerous array of flavor to choose from. For me nothing beats the tradition red bean filling. The crust was super thin super crispy. So thin its purpose was just to hold in the filling from falling out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ this place offers wheel cakes in more than the standard flavors. tried the lemon (TWD 12). the filling is a lemon custard. sadly, the shell was soft instead of crispy. the wheel cakes here are also slightly smaller. 3/5

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Can't believe i actually bother coming back after arriving 5min too early in the morning and being told that it'll take 20min to get ready, as i had to walk all the way from Chihkan tower. Price is average and crust so thin i can barely taste it, so really not sure why so many people bother queuing for this. Any cheap looking vendor that sells the same treat would give you a more authentic taste than this flash looking shop I'd say. I had the egg and cheese, as they sold out of my favorite taro and i already had too much red bean on that day.
