Love the dry eel noodles, and the preserved duck tofu and rice cake, although because southern Taiwan cooking style is sweeter I found the sauce to be too sweet for me ~ the aunties who work here collaborate food space between their stalls and are all so friendly and chatty! A great late night option and definitely coming back whenever in Tainan next ♡

The small storefront hidden in the corner of the market is not fancy but the guests are endless, the boss’s hand has not stopped, still the food is very fast and delicious. The noodle soup is soft just right. The soup head has this special sour and sweetness in the south. The ratio is good and balance . When you drink it, it is sour and sweet and intertwined in the mouth. It is very level! The cuttlefish are crisp and sweet, and very fresh . The eel fried noodles is dry and fried, the noodles is just right, the onions are sweet and sour too, eel is crispy and fresh, and it can really be eaten and eaten. And the price is lovely.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of Tainan's representative dishes, this store whips up a nice rendition of fried eel noodles. However, portion was small and kinda sweet. The entire dish lacked depth. Eel was fresh and springy though. Judging from the number of reviews, this place is really popular. Prepare to wait a little during dinner. Nice enough but not worth the wait. But definitely a good option if you're seeking a taste of Tainan.
