 The restoration was completed in CE 2018. The existing building is roughly the shape of the reconstruction in CE 1955, but retains the traditional temple style of the late Qing Dynasty. The architectural woodwork, decoration and other work items hired Chen Xibang, Chen Yufeng, Chen Shouyi, Chen Zhuanyou and other well-known domestic craftsmen to perform the work. Witness the history of regional development and contemporary restoration. It has high historical and artistic value and was designated as a historic site.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 麻豆護濟宮創建於乾隆46年(1781)。主祀天上聖母，奉祀神明中壇元帥、福德正神、註生娘娘。清中葉即成為蔴荳保一方公廟，而非其他聚落的角頭廟。是麻豆下街的信仰中心。
Madou Huji Palace was founded in the 46th year of Qianlong (1781). The Lord worships the Holy Mother of Heaven, enshrines the marshal of the altar in the Ming Dynasty, the god of fortune, and the goddess of birth. In the middle of the Qing dynasty, it became the Madou Baofanggong Temple, not the Jiaotou Temple in other settlements. It is the belief center of Madouxiajie.
