★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visiting at your own risk. Vendors set up stalls on the sidewalk, and on the road. Mopeds park on the road pushes pedestrians into the street to compete space with mopeds and cars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are a tourist, the place is not suitable to bring your family for a casual and relax night market experience!! If you want to go, find someone adventurous like friends who are not afraid of motorcycles. The reason is because the market is beside/in the middle of the "main" Road unlike other night markets where vehicles are restricted. Thus you will be walking like a sardine among motorcycles worrying for your life every single second. The motorcycles will zoom right beside you and even cut into your walking lane. Trust me, if you are afraid of the traffic DON'T try this night market. One more thing the location is terrible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good place to enjoy Taiwanese street food, food is authentic Taiwanese and prices are pocket friendly, night markets are a must visit when in Taiwan and when in Kaohsiung this is the best market to visit at night. Cheap food to survive in Taiwan is available in this market.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loads of local food stand gather here, cheap but full of character, expect to get multiple dishes as you go along, as usual in Taiwanese night markets. Parking for is really difficult so walking or riding a bike there is recommended.

Explore the different stalls and you'll do fine. -1 star because traffic here especially motors goes in and out and there'll be little space for humans to manoeuvre. But this is Taiwan, its perfectly normal and part of the experience but not good for big groups. A couple will do just fine
