When I was young, I often went in to watch children's ticket movies. Now it has become a place for farming machines, bamboo poles...

A precious historical trace, but unfortunately not maintained and transformed marketing, who has, or where can I find old photos before the theater?

The hometown of bananas is actually in Xizhou in Qishan, but Xizhou has been gradually forgotten for half a century. Five years ago, I went to visit the people’s situation. The streets could not see the prosperous scene of the past. The Dazhou Theater stood desolately by the roadside. There were a few banana trees beside the theater.

Nostalgic theaters will evoke memories of the happy time in the theaters that people went to in the past.

#Kaohsiung#Qishan#Xizhou#Dazhou Theater In the 1950s, when TV was not yet popular There are nine theaters in Guangqimei area Dazhou Cinema is one of them At that time, Meinong had Meidu and the first two Liugui has Liugui and Guanghua Then Shanlin and Jiaxian each Now there are only Mino No. 1 and Liugui Guanghua The continent hardware of Heqi Mountain is still preserved At present, the facade, ticket booth and bulletin board of the theater are still in good condition . The theater was built by Mr. Guo Zhensheng after the Restoration Formerly known as "Grand Cooperative Theater" Later, Mr. Chen Jiexing, the former magistrate of Kaohsiung County, came to Xizhou for inspection. It was renamed "Dazhou Cinema" The economic prosperity of Qishan was driven by the abundance of bananas At that time, a bunch of bananas could be sold for about 100 or 200 yuan. Banana farmers go to the tea room for a cup of tea for only five yuan So waitresses in restaurants and tea rooms As long as you see guests wearing clothes soaked in banana juice, they are all treated as guests The annual income of banana farmers is about 200,000 yuan Compared with civil servants, their monthly income is about 500 yuan. A year's income is no more than 6,000 yuan. You can imagine how beautiful the banana farmers were when they walked on the road And the existence of Dazhou Theater is evidence of the prosperity of Qishan Xizhou area It is one of the important leisure and entertainment places for the banana farmers of Haoye in their spare time. . As television began to air in the 1960s The theater business begins to decline Dazhou Cinema finally closed in 1973 And the other 2 theaters in Qishan area are also out of business because of the environment. The existing space is for the private use of the landlord as a warehouse for piling crops, etc. #20220227
