CE 1736/The first year of Qianlong in Qing Dynasty, brothers Lin Fengshan and Lin Guishan from Jiaying Zhenping County led more than 40 people from 16 surnames to Meinong for farming. They chose to settle down on the north bank of Minong River, and then developed into the present Meinong. After that, the ancestors of Meinong moved to the Longdu area to reclaim, dig the Longzhuang water channel, and build dams to block the Laonong River for irrigation. Therefore, they often clashed with the Fuluo village in the lower reaches of the Laonong River. Eventually, they caused a water fight and caused deaths and injuries. The people in the belly built the "Shuide Palace" near the water intake of Zhuzimen in the Longzhuang Reservoir. They also included the capital to build the Bell Dingbo of the water canal, the Tu Baiqing who managed the water canal, and the king Xiao A who died fighting for water. "Water Conservancy 3 Grace", enter the palace to worship.
The "Shuide Palace" at Zhuzimen in Shishan Township, Meinong Town, Kaohsiung County, formerly known as "Water God Palace", was built in the Lion's Head Dam in March of the 3rd year of Emperor Xuantong of the Qing Dynasty, that is, Meiji 44 (CE 1911), Japan. In view of the arduous construction of Taiwan’s Governor’s Office, a Japanese shrine was built at the entrance of Zhuzaimen Power Station to worship Emperor Dongying Shuiguan (Minister of Water), hemp Amaterasu, and other gods and water conservatories, and named it "Water God Palace." .
After the national government took over Taiwan in the Republic of China in 1945 (CE 1945), the Water God Palace was renamed as the "Water Conservancy Three Graces" (Tu Baiqing, Zhong Dingbo and King Xiao A) who worshipped the prince Chitose, Emperor Shennong, and Longdu. "On behalf of the heavens, hunting the Shuide Palace." In 1984 (CE 1995), the Farmland Water Conservancy Association allocated funds to build the shrine into a Chinese-style temple, and also demolished the torii gate in front of the shrine. Although local residents changed their belief in worshipping the gods of water from the early days of worshiping the Japanese gods of water to the current belief of worshiping princes, it can be seen from the annual festival of the Emperor Suigan that the local residents’ respect for water culture has not changed due to the change of the times. Change.
