★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 梅山遊客中心門口有幾個停車位，但是不多。遊客中心的廁所旁邊有飲水機，可以提供熱水。這裡是進入南橫管制站的起點，早上7：00開放。
 There are a few parking spaces in front of the Meishan Visitor Center, but not many. There is a water dispenser next to the toilet in the visitor center, which can provide hot water. This is the starting point for entering the Nanheng Control Point, which opens at 7:00 in the morning.

到達此處的路況尚未修復，有些顛簸，地盤較低的車或會暈車者，需謹慎慢慢開。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 來到此就是正式準備進入南橫公路，沿途風景必是讓人感覺大自然各種不同的美，而隨著即將在2022年5月1日南橫公路段開放啞口到向陽路段到台東端，在梅山旅客服務中心去前不遠的梅山口加油站是讓用路人加滿油，充氣，加水等，讓用路人方便安全到達山上的唯一中油加油站。
Coming here is officially preparing to enter the Nanheng Highway. The scenery along the way must make people feel the different beauty of nature. With the upcoming opening of the Nanheng Highway section on May 1, 2022, the dumb mouth to the Xiangyang section to the Taitung end, The Meishankou gas station not far from the Meishan Passenger Service Center is the only CNPC gas station that allows passers-by to fill up the gas, inflate, add water, etc., so that passersby can reach the mountain conveniently and safely.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 遊客多，停車場位子少。遊客讓動物大便後都未清理，有到處狗大便的感覺。廁所乾淨，很棒！但委外經營的露營區應該要協助打掃乾淨。
Lots of tourists and few parking spaces. Tourists do not clean up the animals after they defecate, and it feels like dogs defecate everywhere. The toilets are clean and great! However, outsourced camping areas should be assisted in cleaning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Outpost information center for accessing the south cross moutain highway to Taitung. Display information for Yushan National Park. Provide parking space for self driving tourists and there are video to allow tourists a quick scan on the park.You can go picnic in the park right beside the parking lot or you can go to restaurants around the tourist center if you forgot to bring food with you. The tourist center is open all year round except during typhoon or non government working days. It will take around 3 hours if you are driving from Tainan city. Be ware of falling rocks if you drive after heavy rainfall.
