There is a paved wooden plank road that is easy to walk. It takes about 30 minutes to walk from here to the suspension bridge. It takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes to drive from downtown Kaohsiung. The scenery is excellent and worth the half-day trip.

If you want to take the famous Little Great Wall wooden plank road, it is recommended that you park your car in the parking lot of Longtoushan Recreation Area, then walk across the road from the iron bridge, and you can reach the Little Great Wall Wooden Plank Road without walking for a long time.

It has been a long time since I came to Maolin Scenic Area, and after many typhoons, the time from asking for tickets to the current free time has changed quite a lot. The point that used to only "pass" has now become a complete scenic spot, with more public toilets, squares, and an artificial walkway, which is refreshing. The parking lot here is not very large. There are planned parking spaces for tour buses and cars. If all cars are parked, it will barely stop about 3-40 cars. It is easier to choose the time carefully. I have always been puzzled. The topography here seems to have nothing to do with the dragon, but through the Little Great Wall trail, you can see another little dragon: Shetou Mountain, which is also quite wonderful. It's worth coming here to take a look.
