The Yang's Ancestral Hall was built in the 12th year of the Japanese rule of Taisho (AD 1923), and it is nearly 90 years old. It is the exhibition of the ancestors of the 19th generation of the Yang family from the 20th to the 30th year of Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty (1755 to 1765). Settlement in the village was initiated by the 22nd ancestor Qi Rungong no later than in the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty, and more than 30 clan members of the surname Yang from Jiadong Township, Checheng Township, Neipu Township, etc. were gathered to participate in the establishment of "Yang Yunxiu Taste." In order to commend the ancestors’ entrepreneurial virtues, the "Yang's Ancestral Hall" was built by the 25th ancestor’s family water and Kunzhong’s family. The second-class Mrs. Ouyang was appointed as the ancestor with the honorary title, and the ancestors were set up to worship in the morning and dusk, and the incense continued. The Yang’s Ancestral Hall is one of the most representative Hakka traditional buildings in Taiwan. It is a courtyard-style Hakka building that faces south from the north. The roof is a unique swallowtail ridge, and the horseback on the roof is decorated with exquisite glass stickers and painted chisels. Flowers, red floor tiles on the patio. Two full moon doors on both sides of the patio are connected. On each side of the door there is an earthen-carved and painted statue of the shrine guarding the shrine carrying the eaves. The wall door is inlaid with historical figures such as reliefs, paintings and Jiao Chi-yaki. The other doors and windows show the bamboo-shaped momentum that Hakka people use well, present the architectural characteristics of the Yang family's ancestral hall, and are also of great artistic value. In particular, the "Tai Chi and Liangyi Pond" in front of the ancestral hall is the only feng shui landscape seen in the country. The book "Introduction to Traditional Architecture" published by the Cultural Construction Committee of the Executive Yuan in June 1973 has the two full moon gates in the Yang's Ancestral Hall on the cover. An ancestor worship ceremony is held on the day before Ching Ming Festival every year, and birthday ceremony (old people over 70) New Dingyi (a male born that year), scholarships for college freshmen, etc., and dozens of tables for clan family dinners, the scene was grand. All of these have profound educational significance of "drinking water thinking about the source" and "remembering the ancestors" and have far-reaching impact. After more than a hundred years without interruption, it is a good example of local consciousness and tradition. The Yang family's ancestral hall was once demolished due to the conflict between the Taiji and Liangyi Ponds and the main entrance of the city plan. The Yang family's descendants set up a support association to protect the ancestral hall. In addition, in Kaohsiung and Pingtung, many people and groups who care about the preservation of Hakka cultural assets jointly launched a rescue and protection campaign, and finally passed the internal affairs in August 1985.

Although Yang's Ancestral Hall in Jiadong has been renovated, there is a Tai Chi Feng Shui Pool in front of the entrance. After entering, you can also see the use of Fan people to carry the roof. , in this way to reflect the idea of disobedience to foreign domination.
