★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staffs are friendly, and the food is tasty too! You can park your scooter near by and walk in to enjoy the food. There’s washroom inside so don’t forget to wash your hands before eating as well as washing away any spot after eating!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ With these unique home-made toppings, this is one of the best "Shaved Ice" I've had over the past 4 years in Taiwan.

Much better than the other newer more loud and bright shops on the street.
The Laoban (shop-owner) makes all the toppings by himself, and some of the ingredients he grows by himself (fruits, seagrass for special Green Island jelly, etc.). The sugary water he makes from Taiwnese brown sugar, much better than other shaved ice shops.
Laoban is very friendly and quite talkative if you speak Chinese, unlike many other shops in the area that cater for 1-time customers and the atmosphere is like that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Slightly overrated. The shaved ice is okay but the owner was stingy with the topics. He is very talkative and told us that he cultivated part of the toppings himself during the low season. We had the seaweed shaved ice with brown sugar syrup. The syrup was pretty good. The toppings were green, red beans and passion fruit jam. Taste is okay but nothing out of the ordinary.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here for a late dessert after dinner. The owner was very talkative and told us about his former shop selling candy and about his shop selling 冰 for two decades. We ordered the owner's recommendation containing seaweed and added tarot balls. A very sweet dessert, but very nicely presented and with lots of flavors.
