The Darumak tribe, also known as the Dongxing tribe, is 11 kilometers from downtown Taitung. It is located at the junction of Taitung Line 9 and Dongxing Road. It borders the Danan River and Lijia Stream. "Darumak" means "the place where the warriors live." Land" is the only Rukai living area in Taitung County. The famous Taiwanese singer Shen Wencheng was born and raised in the Darumak tribe. He walked along the road of Prosperity Industry, past the sand bar, Dongxing Power Plant, and headed into the mountains. Finally, you will arrive at the old Darumak tribe. The old community of Kapariva was built more than 300 years ago. Unfortunately, the good times are not very common. A fire in the Republic of China in 58 destroyed the original cultural relics. The current pattern and wall of the slate house still exist, but it is not complete. The Dongxing tribal community has tribal monuments, cultural squares, and a Danan Elementary School. It is a very distinctive ethnic experimental elementary school. The school has beautiful totems, artistic creations and aboriginal cabins, and the toilets are very special Oh!

In the past, tribal people would provide food to each other before going to work, bury them in the soil for baking, and dig up the soil when they came back to eat together and share the delicacy of nature. In the mountains and forests, the leaves of the auntie taro can be used as umbrellas or hats to block drizzle or the sun. After a simple meal, I also enjoyed the authentic aboriginal delicacy-Ah Wun (Xiao Mi Zong). Then I chatted with the aboriginal friends on the side.
