★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 五洲戲院成立於民國54年，民國71年結束營業，以播放三輪片為主，早期台東有三四間戲院，而池上的五洲戲院有北天王之稱，戲院內有400人的座位，還有450人的站位，可見當時規模之大。
門口的右側小城故事是於民國68年上映，左側的八百壯士是於民國64年上映，內側的筧橋英烈傳是民國66年上映，汪洋中的一條船是民國67年上映，這些耳熟能詳的電影雖然印象很模糊，都是從父輩那裡聽過，但卻是出現在我們生命中的共同記憶，那種單純而美好的感覺，令人回味無窮。
