Beautiful place! Good coffee and very special interior!

Food is just ok. Plam wine is good. A bit over priced.

We came for drinks and shaved ice. Nicely decorated little cafe with nice alfresco eating area and friendly service.

Location:Located in quiet& peaceful town. Almost every stores& restaurants closed at 19:00. It's 40 mins away from the Taitung station(by bus). You can take Bus No.8107&8125 (Taitung Station to Chenggong) 20-30 mins away from the beach (by walk) Staff:The owners & staff are super friendly. They help me a lot and give me advice on visiting tourist attractions. They treated me like their friends ?? Tasty& fresh food and coffee. Equipment&room: Comfortable bed,room is pretty clean, amazing rooftop, free washing machine, downstairs shower rooms Highly recommended and definitely will come back ?

Great place to stay in this chill town which is popular for surfing. The hostess Ann made tasty food and great coffee. Bed price is pretty good, only 500NTD for a person for a night. Staffs are friendly and helpful as well. We had great memories here.

Actually Doung Her is not an ideal place to stay overnight. It is only a place to pass by. Especially to a budget traveller.

We stayed for 4 nights and these are things that we liked and disliked about this property: Let's start with the things that we didn't like: We booked through Booking.com and paid with a credit card to secure our reservation. Halfway through our stay, one of the staff members questioned us in an attitude that made us felt like we didn't pay for our rooms, as asked us for cash and told us they don't' accept credit card, which was BS because our room was secured with my credit card. The double bedroom we book was ok, clean, but the room felt kind of small. The thing that we didn't like the most is the attachment to the common bathroom, which means in the middle of the night you can hear other people using toilets in the common bathroom. In our private bathroom, there is no door. This means my wife had to smell whatever that was coming out of the toilet during my downloads, and I had to open the window next to the toilet. It was super windy during our stay and the type of hanging curtain they used was super loud as it bangs on the window. This means waking up my wife super early and she was not a happy camper. The small bottle Heineken beer they sold at the shop cost 100NTD, which was kind of a ripoff. Just go next door and you can get beer for 1/3 the price. Certain staff members are very hospital, except one that didn't make us feel at home. Let's talk about what we liked about the place: Great location, very quiet street in Donghe. Great food, let me say again, very good food. The sandwich I got was less than 200 NTD, and the portion was big. One staff member was very friendly and helpful to accommodate whatever needed. Overall this is a good property, perhaps just some training issues.

Bed is okay. They have all the stuff you might need if you go surf. The surrounding area at evening is quite noisy. You'll have a difficulty to find food around the area, but there's 7-11 nearby. The shower is outside the building, and can be damn hot cause no airflow or ventilation. The rooftop is a sweet corner btw! Buy beer from 7 and take your time to enjoy the night up there.
