★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Superb location, only 3 minutes walking from the train station. Hotel is brand new, perfect for Taroko. Price is also right and they offer small breakfast (salad, sandwich and coffee). Highly recommended for overnight stay. Email them if you arrive after 9pm so front desk staff will wait on you. Otherwise its only security. Night market is 5 minutes away for snacks/food.

You can order a grilled teriyaki chicken set menu (照燒雞腿套餐)for dinner in the hotel, which has a really big-sized chicken leg with yummy sauce!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you’re looking for affordable comfort, look no further. I booked this place because it’s walking distance from to the Xincheng train station. I wasn’t expecting too much but it is everything you need. Clean spacious room with a large bathroom and tub. Because of Covid the dining room is not open but the room service is on point. Delicious dinner with a modest selection of beverages. After a long day of hiking in Taroko National Park, this place is perfect. Even better under regular conditions and I hope to come back to check it out.
