New-open hotel in Ji-an township. The villa is featured in vanillas and several herbs since it is run by a 34-year old vanilla farm. The hotel room is luxurious, having fragrance and with cordial service. It would have been better if the beds of family suite are larger and the swimming pool is larger, but still worth a visit:)

Love the landscape around the hotel, we borrowed bicycles exploring this beautiful countryside. Hotel facilities was new, food was made by local ingredients, I can still find a little gummy worm from the veges. Anyway, will def drop by again.

Total catastrophic stay at this overrated resort. Starting with the double upgraded room ont the ground floor, very dark even full sunshine. Interior designer used cheapest material and lots of functional details a complete miss. Plenty of insects and small worms in the room and shower!!! Diner is buffet only and it’s like a 7/11 quality, no kidding - there were only a few tables the first night so everything was kind of dried out and of substandard quality We couldn’t stand so we went back to the room for a à la carte room service (burger was sold out, order a beef noodle (the worst ever)! Swimming pool and garden area is nice but the micro tiny mosquitos made it unbearable to stay more than a minute - not sure what they do wrong but we had no issues during the entire week elsewhere in Hualien, including in the great Echo Villa next to the lush forest For the Spa experience however I would give 4.5 stars as it was a full package incl hot bath, relaxing room and a professional tonic massage, unusually strong for a hotel massage In short, unless you enjoy these tiny insects, junk food of poorest quality, avoid at al cost.

Excellent experience. The hotel staff is very helpful and kind, the facilities are great, swimming pool is clean and in a beautiful environment, also have a hot water swimming pool, very relaxing. The garden is beautiful with a wonderful view of the mountains surrounding the hotel. The room is wonderful with a unique hot steam herbal bath. I highly recommend the spa, it has a hot bath, two steam rooms and a relaxing room, the two massage therapists were just amazing, kind and very skilled, you really can’t skip the spa.

This is a very odd resorts that I have ever stay! Hotel facilities are very “various” ! But those facilities are a kind of rough.....! This is not a very delicate on detail of decoration! You can feel the material they used is not fit to its price level! A part from that, people are very kind and helpful! Breakfast is also awesome! The night bar with a singer is very touched and emotional! The location is not easy to find!

The experience staying in the gaea is very wonderful ,especially gaea spa Bella,she is very professional and kind. Next time I will be here and enjoy spa again.

The environment is absolutely beautiful and the view is a plus too. Their breakfast and afternoon tea is amazing; however, dinner lacks variety. The staff overall is super friendly, but my only problem with them is that it seems that there’s a lack communication amongst each other. There’d be times when staff A tells us one thing but staff B tells us something completely different. And then get annoyed when we still don’t understand something. My last concern is that i think everything closes too early. I tried ordering room service tonight at 9:50 but was told their services ended already. I get that, and I have no problems with that, but when you are located in the middle of nowhere where the nearest convenience store is not convenient at all and theres no transportation service (including renting a bike), i’d wish you’d end room service or the “bar” a little bit later.

Enjoy our vacation at this beautiful hotel. Staffs were very attentive and helpful. Nice view of the mountains surrounding the hotel. Love the good fragrance when I open the room door. Do not miss a unique hot steam herbal bath. The bed was a little bit small. Breakfast was awesome! Lots of vegetables were organic and from local farmers. Had a wonderful experience.
