Acheng Goose is a family restaurant that serves good quality boneless braised goose dish which we enjoyed during our December holiday in Taipei. The main restaurant had a queue and was quite tightly spaced so the staff directed us to their second restaurant which was just across the road where seats were available immediately. We were ushered upstairs which was cosy and better spaced out with tables for bigger group of diners. The thinly sliced goose was a good sized portion and it was not gamey at all. I liked both the DIY dipping sauces that went with it. The goose intestine (our choice was with beansprouts, there's leeks and other options) is not a common fare in Singapore so I thoroughly enjoyed it. Fern was the veggie of the day and although fern is not a familiar vegetable found in Singapore's food scene, we did appreciate the freshness and crisp texture of that dish. The duck fat rice had good aroma but the fats had settled at the bottom of the rice bowl so do mix well before you eat it. The fish skin soup was refreshing but really no socks came off. My grandchildren had dry noodles (we also had a bowl of XO sauce noodles) as well as the tasty Taiwanese sausages. The stir-fried duck offal was delicious! Service was friendly and efficient. Overall, an affordable and satisfying meal not too be missed when visiting Taiwan.

Really great food for a really cheap price. I loved the milkfish. The big white noodle is amazing too 5th time here, it's always great. Obviously get the goose! The front part (chest) is leaner and have less bones. Leg part is more fat and has bones. I recommend the leaner part

A local favorite.. I'm not a big meat eater, however, the food is delicious. Smoked goose meat cooked to perfection. Full of flavor, and amazing goodness.... I don't know how else to describe it... Be sure to check out the chopstick machine. I've never seen it in other restaurants!!! Come here if you have more than 4 people because you can try more food... Come early because it gets crowded. It is recommended by Michelin. Happy Eating!

This s a very nice n affordable place. Goose meat were delicious with smokey sugar cane taste. Was told they use sugar cane to smoke the goose. We ordered the drum part that costs ntd400. Portion was huge. Side dishes were good. When we arrived before 1130, there was already a long queue. Service was fast n efficient. Staff were quick in serving n polite. Restaurant s clean. Will definitely come again. ???

It was my first time visiting this popular goose restaurant. How amazing it was! There were a variety of dishes and they were cheaper than I thought. The goose meat was fresh and delicious. We also ordered vegetables, stinky tofu, blood tofu, sausage with king oyster mushrooms and clam soup. I recommended all of them! Fast and friendly service. Must come back to enjoy it.
