ordered grilled oysters, grilled beef ribs, stirfry lamb, pan fried fresh fish, and a soft drink. oysters and lamb were great and good respectively according to companions. beef ribs were ridiculously salty. the pangried fresh fish was served smothered in sauce which pretty much defeated the whole purpose of pan frying the fish to make it crispy.
decor is somewhat interesting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I must say that everything was excellent, the location of the hotel is quite close to the beach and surfing point. The rooms have been excellent and surprisingly comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others having vacation trip, business trip and surfing.. ???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We only had dinner here so I can't say anything about the hostel, but we had great food! The owner and staff are extremely nice and speak good english. They are all surfer types and very relaxed! The fish was really fresh and cooked in a lovely sauce. The beef and vegetables were also very tasty. Everything is very local. A very enjoyable experience

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We took our kids surfing here with a very large group of friends. While they surfed, I went fishing :). Afei was very nice and friendly. The kids really enjoyed surfing. We went surfing at Nanwan beach (National Park). Afei gave me warning that they may not allow me to fish on the beach since it was a National Park but nobody really stopped me while I was fishing there (for 6 hours). Afei and his team were really friendly and service oriented. We wanted to go back the next day but the winds really started to get stronger and it was cold so we decided not to go back (next trip :). The great part of the surfing was that they took photos for us. 2900+ photos !!! If you go, bring a USB stick with a couple of gigabytes so they can copy all the photos for you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tasty local food and surprisingly good cocktails (ask the bartender for his original creations), awesome hosts and chilled vibes.. we didn’t stay there but ended up hanging out there all the time lol. A must visit for the Kenting life experience.
Surfing class is a must try! Very beginner friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The coaches are nice and patient. Very lucky to have their help to learn some basic techniques as a beginner. The wave is excellent for me to practise and the water is not deep. Pretty safe and fun for beginners. Experienced surfers can go further to catch the bigger waves.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Evolutive surf experience. The coach and beach are suited for beginners and more advanced surfers. The safety is well cared for and the coaches speak enough English for us to communicate and understand each other.
They take pictures and provide a review and analysis of your posture which is quite helpful to get better. The price was 1500 NTD for 3h.
