C	Chze Teck Tai on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most of booking app will rate as 3 star which should be 2 star. Very old hotel. >30 years. Very cold during winter. Flooring too cold, in room heating almost non existence except heating blanket.

You have everything around, transports, food and gift shops. Our room have is equipped with a warm bedroom, wifi is working, hot watter in the bathroom, tv and a tenant just called us for asking if we wanted to be wake up for the sunrise! Definetily my best experience in Taïwan !
W	Wai Leong Lau on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very basic hotel but heating was adequate. Both room and bed has heating. Also no lift and we had to lug our hotel up to 4th floor! The breakfast was also very basic porridge with some dish and we had to walk like 200m to another hotel to take it. To top it all, there was nobody at the reception when we checked in and out. I felt my luggage was not safe in the general lobby so pushed it inside the counter.

Room: The room looks not new but clean and well organized. They have heater and electric blanket. Bathroom: The bathroom was also looked not new but clean and had everything that is needed. The water pressure was good and the temperature was also warm. They give towels.
S	Steve Liang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Resort motels in Taiwan is typically like this. There are the very high end that is usually over $500 a night and then there places like this. Rooms are ok but old. The buildings seem to not have been updated since the Ming Dynasty. Interior is really really old but it’s clean, organized and everything works. We paid 1,800NT for a room. Priced on the high side. But for 1 night, you just deal with it. The old man who manages the front desk and hotel, is a really great helpful person outside his gruff exterior. He helped us out tremendously on many items on things he just didn’t need to deal with. Great man.

The sound insulation is less than ideal but we had to wake up early to see the sunrise anyway. There’s a heater but it’s on a timer and it simply isn’t powerful enough to heat up the room. Thank god they provided the electric blankets. Those are life-savers. The slippers they provide are not disposable ones, I would bring my own. The bathroom is pretty clean and it has good water pressure. The vent was definitely spinning but it didn’t do a great job. Maybe it’s the humid mountain weather. The innkeepers are very nice and helpful. They gave great suggestions on what to see and how to get around the national park. The Yushan tour they recommended was great. Treat this as a motel and you won’t be disappointed.
I	I wan Taiwan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's comfortable enough but for the price the amount of compromises adds up. There is very little sound proofing, don't bother with a 4.30 alarm call you will hear everyone else's. The rooms are cramped so they can fit more in to the space. The breakfast is inedible. Their shower was nice though and the location is great. I just felt if someone actually cared about the guests it would be a nicer experience. I guess when you have the location, it's just an exercise in making money and not hospitality.

The location is great for those who want to catch the early morning train for sunrise (no more than 10 minutes walk to Alishan train station) Minus 1 star because the hotel doesn’t have lift and bellboy, so we need to carry everything climb up to the 4th floor.
