At that time, the school site was more than Liujia. The city government invested more than one million yuan to build a hand-cranked box-opening bridge to connect the two sides of the canal. On February 8th in the 1960s, under the leadership of the first principal Mr. Sun Huajia, more than 500 teachers and students passed through this bridge and formally entered the school. It symbolizes the end of the one and a half years of borrowing Shimen Elementary School for classes since the admission in August of 58th. Although the bridge isolates the hustle and bustle of the city, it is beneficial for teachers and students to study; but it also increases a lot of burdens on teachers and students. Water leakage, fishing boat collisions and other factors have caused "one minor repair in three days, and major repair in five days." The bamboo bridge was even temporarily maintained to maintain traffic. The teachers and students even followed the Yuyuan Trail to the east to the front of Xinnan Elementary School. Wuqiao, then return to Anping District from the road, and walk for two hours. Because this only passage often causes inconvenience, teachers and students collectively gave it an alias called "Naihe Bridge." Except for this "Naihe Bridge" which is "a thousand miles away" and often teaches people to "look at the bridge and sigh". The school is located in a wilderness and close to the sea. When the wind blows, it will fly off the sand and rocks, shaking the doors and windows. It is hard; but at the same time, it also cultivates a good school spirit of diligence, simplicity and hard work, from the barren land, cutting through thorns, turning over the soil and picking stones, and the results of the tragic management, which are enough to disregard the group, and are impressive, such as: repeatedly participating in the city's abacus In the competitions such as, sketching, science exhibition, history and geography drawing, etc., the results are all excellent; especially in the 60th and 61st academic years, I participated in the province's junior high school subject tests and ranked 10th and 7th respectively, which is a great honor.
