Best Traditional market in Taiwan

A	Aaron S on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't go here, not worth your time considering the other markets in the area. The pancakes in the pic are the only thing worth mentioning. Go to 淡水 or 石林 instead, they're very close via metro.

It includes all of the chaos and hecticness one would come to expect of a Taipei night/morning/vegetable market with all of the convenience as well. Want a steak with a side of sushi? Want to buy vegetables and then get a haircut? Need some traditional medicine and some flowers? Beitou market has it all! Additionally, being located in Beitou District, this market has its own charm that isn't present in other markets. Definitely worth checking out!
O	Oneiros on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice street food, not too expensive. I recommend the wheel cakes (there's only two stands : the modern looking one), cheap price and really good quality! The juices are good too, just avoid it after a typhoon, because they usually raise the prices

T	Tiaraティアラ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small market that is in a building. On the first floor and second floor half is a market selling produce while the other half is selling traditional food. It is relatively small and you will probably go through the whole place in 15 minutes. It is definitely worth the trip if you want to mingle around with the locals and try some authentic Taiwanese food and it is not to far away from Beitou station and Xinbeitou station walking from either station will take you around 10 - 15 minutes.

In here you can buy fresh food, daily necessities, or taste the most popular local braised pork rice, traditional Taiwanese noodles or Taiwanese tea. There are also street food here at night, which is a good place to go during the day and night.
