藍門 BLUE DOOR - Section 2

We always enjoy Blue Door every time we go. The pasta is really good.

Nice brunch!

Upon entering the restaurant, the manager told us it was full and did not offer to put us on a waiting list. We ended up waiting for a table outside and getting in a few minutes later. Initially, we weren't too concerned about not being put on a waiting list (although waiting lists are the norm in Taipei coffee shops), but were very surprised to see people who came in after us being offered this service. I have no idea why we were treated differently. But what really warrants this negative review was the manager's treatment after she brought us the wrong drinks. She insisted that she had got our order correct, and that we had in fact ordered something we never drink. Regardless, we didn't want to cause a fuss, and accepted the drinks they brought us. A few minutes later she came back to our table to once again let us know that she was right and that we ordered incorrectly. That made us feel very uncomfortable. It didn't matter to us who was right and who was wrong, we just expected the staff to be courteous about it. It was almost as if we were singled out and treated with negativity. The food was okayish and the prices reasonable. But our experience with the manager was very unpleasant.

Ordered delivery today, the food is good but the Americano is very bad. (Literally gives me a bad morning…) I also don’t understand why they put the Tomato sauce on the scrambled egg with packing….lol

This place is amazing, in all senses. The food is tasty, the quality is high, eco-friendly and the price is so affordable. Anyone can eat here. (They even serve bread with the brunch, actual real bread :') ) I would recommend this place 100%. If not the best, one of the best brunch places in all Taipei!!! Congratulations ?

This brunch place provides affordable brunch options and have a variety of drinks to choose from as well. The menu has English in it so when we came, we same foreigners dine. They do not accept credit cards so pay only through cash.
