★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best cafe near Academia Sinica. Cafe Misto is excellent. With the coffee drinks, you can adjust the grade of coffee to fit your budget. Lots of non-coffee drinks and snacks/small meals as well.
There are even board games you can play, and a variety of seating options, from chairs to curling up on the floor to look at books. There are cats you can play with/hold, and excellent friendly service.
