Pros: plenty of parking, shaded areas. Good access to the river, which is quite pretty.
Cons: hoardes of ravenous mosquitoes that can bite you right through your clothing. No toilets. Trash scattered around from previous visitors (no trash cans here either).
The terraced part leading down to the water needs refurbishing as it has been seriously eaten away from underneath. Much of that part is overgrown with weeds. It's a classic case of Taiwan's *build it and forget about it* strategy -apparently rebuilding is cheaper than maintenance?
Conclusion: probably a good spot to walk your dog, but not with spending much time here otherwise.
