There are basketball courts, some gazebos and a set of humble slides. The advantage is that the trees are more shaded, but the sunset is full of mosquitoes.

From the late Qing Dynasty to the early Japanese rule in Taiwan, the Caigongtang area in Pingding was Yijiezhuang, which was called "Caigongtangzhuang" and belonged to Taojianbao. The village is adjacent to Nanshi Puzhuang to the north, Niujiaopozhuang to the east, Shanweizhuang and Jiulukengzhuang to the south, and Dahuzhuang and Kulinglinzhuang to the west[1].
In November 1901 (the thirty-fourth year of the Japanese rule of Meiji), the entire Taiwanese abandoned county hall was changed to 20 halls, which belonged to the Taozaiyuan hall. In 1903 (the 36th year of the Meiji era), it was renamed Taoyuan Hall. In October 1909 (Meiji forty-two years), the Twenty Hall was merged into the Twelve Hall, and the subordination of the village remained unchanged. In 1920 (the ninth year of the Taisho era), the village was restructured and renamed "Pingding Caigongtang" in large characters, which belonged to Guishanzhuang, Taoyuan County, Hsinchu Prefecture. Under the big characters, there were "Caigongtang" and "Piliao" in small characters [2].
After the war, Guishan Villa was restructured into Guishan Township, which was subordinate to Hsinchu County, and Dazi was also restructured into a village. In 1950, the peach, bamboo, and seedlings were divided, and Guishan Township was reorganized to belong to Taoyuan County. In December 2014, Taoyuan County was upgraded to Taoyuan City, and Guishan Township was transformed into Guishan District. The above is from Wikipedia
