★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In the early days, Chihnan was a logging and gathering area for the Mokua Mountain Forest, one of the three major forests in the eastern part of Taiwan, and the timber was transported to Chihnan via railway and cableway for onward shipment. After the logging business ended in 1986, the park still retains rich cultural assets of forestry and is a place to see the past.
