[Lantern Festival] Daxi Yuanshu Sanyuan Palace welcomes the tortoise Yuanshu Sanyuan Palace is located in Daxi, Taoyuan City. It is dedicated to the three emperors. The earliest record of temple construction was six years of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty. It has a century of history. The Emperor of the Three Officials ’Day is on the Lantern Festival on Christmas Day, so the Yuanyuan Sanyuan Palace is traditionally held on the Lantern Festival, and there is a“ Begging Turtle ”event to allow believers to find a safe turtle. However, this time is relatively early. After the Lantern Festival at 7 am on the day of the gathering, we started activities at Yuanshulin Elementary School. Remember to get up early if you want to participate.

The Sanyuan Palace was built in the sixth year of Tongzhi (1867). The temple was initiated by the local giant peasant "Huang Tianfu" and was completed in 11 years of Tongzhi (1872). Destroyed in the battle of "Yiwei Battle" in the 21st year of Guangxu (1895), it was rebuilt in the 30th year of the Meiji era (1897). The local giant peasant "Huang Jinshui" gathered crowd funding from the local doves. In the year of the Republic of China (1969), it was rebuilt. Part of the inner wall was removed, the roof was raised, and wooden worship pavilions were added. The overall architectural style is expected to be maintained to this day. Focusing on the worship of the three official emperors as the center of belief, the folk of the three official emperors is also known as the "three realms"; the so-called three realms refers to heaven, earth, and water. The "three official" means the general name of the heaven, earth, and water officials. yuan". Shangyuan Heavenly God blessed the first emperor Ziwei; Zhongyuan emperor forgive the sin two emperors of Qingxu Emperor; Xiayuan Shuiguan expelled Sanpindongyin Emperor. Rebuilt in 2009, it is a pity that the original temple condition was not maintained!
