PS: could be really crowded for normal breakfast time and brunch time on the weekend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little local cafe and bakery. Lots of people come in and out of this neighborhood to buy fresh produce in the mornings. In the morning, they have Chinese egg pancakes and paninis for breakfast/brunch. The breads and baked goods come out later in the afternoon. After walking home with my mom from shopping the open air markets, the tables outside were all full!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great local traditional Taiwanese breakfast joint with good prices in an updated environment! They have nice indoor and outdoor seating and a clean bathroom in back, and serve up good standards like fried turnip cakes (luobogao) and danbing.
