★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a very quick tour. Good for history buffs. The house is similar to Japanese style ancient houses surrounded by a big garden. Easy to find, just a few hundred meters from Taipei main station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Relatively small park walking distance from the main train station. Entry is free, and its extremely peaceful and not normally crowded. The day I was there there the flowers were blooming and the there were birds perched around the small pond. Glad I stopped by.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small but well-maintained house dedicated to the founding father of the ROC. Exhibits are described in both Chinese and English. Half an hour should be enough to go through all the exhibits. A small pond and garden add to the charm of the place. Free admission.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing oasis in the middle of the city. As a local I didn't even know about this place. Great chinese garden that's free and open to all. Easy access from taipei main station. You can visit the historical building where Sun Yat Den stayed but no photos inside are allowed. Bring bread to feed the huge carp and the turtles. Lovely park.
