Emperor Spa

For me this is the best all male all nude hot springs in Taipei. Whenever I visit Taiwan from the USA I come here a few times during my visit. The facilities are well kept and clean. Friendly kind staff makes it even better. The soaking tubs are outside so at night you can watch the stars while you soak. In addition to the different temperature tubs, there are dry and wet saunas. If you want to really rejuvenate your body and soul this is the place. You'll sleep like a baby afterwards.

Famous in town (I heard), but the male Onsen area is small so very crowded. I went to Hall 2 around 9pm, many peoples. Locker provided but have to pay Twd40 per use. No towel provided please remember to bring your own. That is a Sauna room and Steam room available. Total 3 hot water area and 1 cool water. Not really same as Japan Onsen but it's was fun. The restaurant serve nice food until 11pm.

Visited here at the holiday evening right before Chinese New Year Eve and it is still almost packed (some people should have leave Taipei for holidays before this evening.) I am here with my wife and daughter for hot spring and dinner. We enjoyed hot spring room (isolated room and could accommodate a 3 to 4 people family). Also the picture are the dinner we had. The price is relatively high: 400 TWD per person and you could enjoy the famous rice soup and hot spring with other people (public hot spring). If two people or more, you can choose isolated room. However, the isolated room is only for your use for 30 mins during holidays (40 mins for non Holliday). 30 mins is really like having a shower in army.... but anyway, the hot spring is really enjoyable; I felt so relaxed afterward. The rice soup was also very good! Totally love it with the first bite. The vegetable was also tasty. The traditional pancake could not match the other dishes but also a good try for this more traditional way. Recommended as a good place and good experience to spend dinner and relaxed.

We just dip ourself there without food for 500 (2 people) good for 45mins yet after 30mins they will knock on your door politely to remind you that its almost time. The tub space is enough for 2. Facilities looks old. When we arrived there we are the one who set and remove the water. The water smells fresh from deep water its so refreshing after.

Looooove this place for a good outdoor soak plus delicious food after - you'll be konked out in bed later and sleep like a baby!! Us four friends went to the public pools for 400nt each, with a variety of temperature pools, some water jets, and a steam room and sauna. Lots of space and definitely crowded on weekend nights. Make sure you have a hair swim cap, your own towels and 20nt ready to rent a locker. The best part is the dinner after a long soak!! Your 400nt per person becomes credit to be spent at dinner~~ such a good deal! You have to order their zhou porridge, non-negotiable- it's super delicious, huge at even the "small" size order, super filling and the perfect nourishing comfort food post hot spring. The shrimp version we ordered was filled with goodies and tons of shrimp and it felt like a magic pot where we kept eating and it kept not emptying ? we also got a variety of other dishes like fried tofu, pork potstickers, stir fried green onion with beef, deep fried mantou and 3 cup chicken~ highly recommend for a luxurious, relaxing night out ?

A hotspring with reasonable price. Offers three types: private room with two people, or naked separated male/female public space, or mixed public space with swimsuits on. You have to bring your own towel or other necessities. Otherwise, you will have to buy them.

I enjoyed my relax hot spring time in the morning. From Taipei train station took 1.5 hours by 2 buses and It drived smoothly. My local friends quite recommend here since the original hot spring water is thick and a little medical effect. All atmosphere here is a kind of Japanese smell with exotic air and music. With a towel I prepared advanced and a bottle of water I socked myself in the authentic environment half day.

Comfortable, easy to access via transit and the food here is pretty good. The ambience of the spa is quite nice, and there are different pools of temperatures from cold, up to 42°C. The central pool temperature are marked. There's also a laydown pool, "massage jets" in some cool pools, and both a steam room and sauna. You can rent towels, and the pools we went to (#1) were nude/separated by gender. I believe #2 is unisex with bathing trunks, and I'm not sure what #3 is like. There are a variety of veggie items at the restaurant, although we got some meat dishes as well. The portion sizes are quite good too.
