★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Peaceful as you can get in amongst the hustle of the scooter horns and exhausts. Vegetarian restaurant was really tasty and decent choice. Didn't take any photo's inside as I got the stink eye from 2 of the staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Foguangshan Jile Temple is Keelung’s largest Buddha Temple. You can find the spacious 8-floor-building in the heart of the city just close to the river. It’s a really beautiful and modern temple to visit as it was rebuilt in 1991. Foguangshan Jile Temple features a lecture hall, an education center and a vegetarian restaurant.
