★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful transit stop
Just a gorgeous stop between trains. The lights are lovely, especially underground, and after a day of traveling, you want to get back to your hotel, but you have to stop and admire this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Formosa was derived from Portuguese formosa, meaning beautiful, which was derived from Latin formosus, meaning beautifully formed. Ilha Formosa (Isla Hermosa in Spanish) originally referred to Lequeos (琉球島). Taiwan was subjugated under different European colonisers (colonizers): Formosa Portuguese (1544), Dutch Formosa (1624-62) and Spanish Formosa (1626-42).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An ordinary MRT station made beautiful by the colourful frescoes on the ceiling. There is also a pianist here at certain times of the day. Good, fun atmosphere when u r taking the trains. Don't need to make a special trip down to see it.
