★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Update 2.17 - I returned coffe was excellent I drank lattes and service much improved worth a 5 star review now!
Love the decor and sound track! But understand I am older so if the 80's are not in your memory banks I'm uncertain if you can relate.. But for me I felt 30 years younger so YMMV.
Food was good (solid fair) we ate brunch (crispy bacon, delicious sausage the mushrooms were creamed and tasty) and a good value.
Service was not good and could use improvements.
With that said I plan to become a regular for Brunch and will try dinner and drinks. We did not have reservations but showed up as they opened - I suggest you call ahead for reservations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Drinks and coffee 5/5! Nice brunch place. If you are very hungry, I suggest the jumbo English breakfast. The normal size one is a bit small (or maybe it’s just me and my big apetite, don’t judge). The sausages were delicious ?❤️ pancakes in the American breakfast recommended as well!
Pet friendly ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place - good food, music and staffers are lovely too. One of the very few dog friendly places with good food in Taipei.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went here for a noon Saturday brunch and definitely needed the reservation for our group of 4 as the tables were all full. Looked as though singles and doubles could easily get a spot at the bar. Sadly the pancakes were sold out just before we arrived. They must make a certain amount of batter and sell til it’s gone? I had the cheese omelette which was average, but be sure to ask for omelettes to be well-cooked if you don’t like the runny style. The atmosphere was upbeat with a fun eclectic style, and a couple of outdoor tables available for days with nice weather. Friendly staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A subpar experience.
Wanted a proper English breakfast for brunch/lunch and saw quite a few people recommend Fumu. Couple of issues that I want to highlight:
1) Promos - On the official website of the restaurant, they had a promo for "buy one get one free English breakfast and omelettes". My party actually got up ealier than usual just for this promo, if not we would have still gone there for lunch. Unfortunately, when we got there, the service staff claims that this promo does not exist and the website is not updated. Also, we got informed that breakfast comes with black coffee, which you could upgrade to a latte, but not any other beverage, they could be more flexible with that.
2) Food - We ordered the jumbo English breakfast, wasn't quite the jumbo I remember from my experiences in the UK. It was more like a regular English breakfast. Was plated well, good for photos for sure. Eggs and tomato were the best part. The bread was thinly sliced, sausage was not good English sausage, mushrooms were not good quality mushrooms. The worst thing though, was that we found a long strand of hair in the egg of one of our plates. We noticed a lady chef who only did her hair up in a loose ponytail.
3) Service - The service staff was friendly. She was also apologetic about the hair, and switched the barely touched breakfast for a new plate immediately. However few little things - the cutlery set came in a box, with 1 piece of tissue, and not 1 each for each diner. Also when the new plate was brought, they didn't bring new cutleries even though they took them away the first time. Little touches like this could greatly improve the experience.
4) Atmosphere - Its a nice relaxing place, love the decor. Also love how they recycle Roku Gin bottles to serve water. Also love the creative use of a drum pedal as a sanitizer dispenser. Negative point though - toilet was out of order? For a proper restaurant, I don't think this should be tolerated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My go-to British brunch in Taipei
delicate menu and fresh food.
Nice portion with reasonable price.
Can’t figure out why I won’t visit again.

Only reason might be I just could not get up at weekends??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice vibe and décor. Must’ve caught them on an off day because they didn’t have more than half of their (already small) menu available. Vegetarian brunch plate came with some soggy bean/lentil loaf type thing. Kudos for trying I guess?
No baby chairs provided. Not super family friendly, despite the name.
Food wasn’t bad but probably wouldn’t go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My first visit and overall experience was not too bad. I ordered the American pancakes set and the portion was quite generous. Black coffee is free when you order before 11am. It's a great deal.
