Top niche jazz bar in downtown. Definitely come again.

Glad I found this place on a random Friday night. Keep in mind that they provide live jazz performance at 8 and 9 on every Fridays and Saturdays:) Loved the place and the music. Will be back soon!

Decent bar .. shoes & drinks it’s rare combination. Service is good

Perfect lighting, great atmosphere, beautiful live performance, wonderful service, only down side is the fried items are quiet salty ? Other than that, love to go back and visit again!

The bartender asked as to pay minimum without tell us in advance… FINE we paid :) And then when we paid, the bartender tell us we had to pay extra service fee …this is unbelievable ??‍♀️ The vibes with music is good tho, but the service and feeling was not good at all.

I have been searching for a good jazz bar since coming to Taiwan from the US and having come here a couple of times previously, thought this would become a regular haunt for me. Unfortunately, after my disappointing experience tonight, I won't be returning. First, they initially insisted on getting a name and phone number before providing a seat, but couldn't provide a valid reason for why this was necessary. The man at the door actually went inside to talk to another person (the owner?) about this, which was very awkward. Why can't people who walk in just be seated? Why do they need your name and phone number to seat you? Second, there was a couple who apparently was friends with one of the staff (owner?) and they were taking photographs. At one point, the man got up from his seat, went into the main area of the bar, pointed his camera in the direction of my table and started taking photos that I reasonably assumed might include me. Later, the couple were taking photos of their food and using an external light to illuminate it, which was noticeable because the bar is very dimly lit. This behavior is inappropriate and not what one would expect at an establishment that presents itself as being high class. People come to a bar to enjoy their time, not to be part of some random person's photo shoot. Finally, the bartenders were not wearing masks most of the time. When I ordered, the bartender was literally so close to me I could smell his breath, which was uncomfortable. Even after bringing this to their attention, they continued to keep their masks down below their chins, which I found to be especially disrespectful. The space is lovely and the concept is great. Good jazz bars are basically non-existent in Taiwan and I had high hopes for this place, but tonight was so awkward and unprofessional that I won't be back.

Me and my friend stumbled across this bar in the alley and we did not regret coming here. Chill, cozy atmosphere and sophisticated decoration with a touch of jazz, friendly and knowledgeable staff and bartender; this is definitely a place where you can relax by yourself or with your friend after a long tough day. They have a good selection of whiskey and some good wine, and their cocktails are also tasteful. To my surprise, there are abundant of outlets at the bar, so it’s also doable to bring your laptop and work (or not) here.
