★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've been returning visitors here for about 15 years. Whenever we get guests from abroad, this is a part of our itinerary. They usually organize monkey feeding sessions at 11 am and 2-3 pm.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very nice place for your family. But, you have to look for the camping area before arriving this monkey land. Or you will be guided to the very small road. You are not allowed to feed monkeys. Fee, 100 NT for each one .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to see wild monkeys up close. They charge 100nt per person, but give you a ticket to exchange for coffee or another drink. You can exchange 2 tickets for a large plastic bottle of bubbles that is shaped like a monkey. I have limited Chinese, but was able to communicate enough to understand this. A fun and scenic scooter ride from Taichung. They have car parking as well (free).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lots of monkeys and an excellent biologist working there giving me a really detailed information of monkeys group politics. When guide like her answers stupid tourists questions all day every day, some loses a bit enthusiasm, but not her. Her love of the job, and share of knowledge totally carries this park and you will learn something cool about the social structure of these primates, not straight forward of one dominant male; it's female led queen that ruled, and title was hereditary. How group flights carried out was another interesting thing to spend an hour to observe. You can't see that in the zoo!!!
