★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Many choices on the menu, but food was lacking in flavour. Pizza looked good, but not really any sauce and flat tasting. Fried options were of a weaker quality.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After a 6hr drive from the north, Happy Bird was a very welcome find for a late lunch and a chill place to relax. I had the Country Vegetable pasta with tomato sauce and it was delicious. Different mouthfuls revealed different flavours thanks to a carefully mixed selection of herbs. They also let Maia the dog come in. Service was excellent. May well go back here before the trip is over!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty good, the pesto pasta was creamy, silky, well cooked. And the ribs were HUGE with crispy fries and a nice salad. The pizza was interesting, it had a sesame crust with fresh meaty cheese on top. Service was a little slow but that’s because we were the only people and the waitress was in the back. Very good prices as well for what you get.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bad food for the given price. A friend ordered baked pasta but was given baked rice. But what made things worse was that the waitress argued that it was baked rice by default even though it was written as baked pasta on the menu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went back and had clams in wine sauce, not impressed with it. The alley kitchen restaurant’s squid ink clam pasta is much better.
Drinks were not good, 80 NT for artificial flavor soda water.
We had Basile Chicken pizza, which is a thine crust white personal pizza. It’s good.
Half Mexican chicken meal, chicken is flavorful with Mexican spices, small chicken. Side salad with passion fruit dressing is very good, we really like the dressing. Small corn chowder soup, or the cold side but tasted good. French fries done well too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stumbled into this place after trying and failing to get into 3 other places. We're super super happy we ended up here. Large portion sizes and great flavors. They also feature craft beer from Tainan. The lemongrass chicken was our favorite but we also enjoyed pizza, Mexican chicken, ribs, and a pork chop.
We'll be back again!
