★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Instead of eating near the exhibition halls, we decided to go for a short walk to this restaurant/cafe. The carnitas burrito was delicious, and even though I was very hungry, it was enough to satisfy me. Their bagels were toasted crispy and was a nice surprise. This is a nice place for a light brunch or coffee. They have a narrow dining area off to the side that is bathed in sunlight, simultaneously cozy and open.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's very nice to have a vegetarian restaurant in a quiet area. The food is decent but rather small portions. However I still support their lofty ideal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A little market with a semi outdoor cafe area (ok it’s covered and air conditioned lol) all to myself on a weekend!
They made vegan balls with green lentils and serve in this light and fluffy bread with a good crust?

This little is tucked in a small hideout in Nangang district, so maybe outta way for most city slickers. This store/cafe is very much cause motivated to providing healthy food and reducing waste with its menu, shelf items and the simple, industrial, rustic decor. There’s a garden seating at the back as well.
Rice ball - simple yet more layers of tastes than a conventional Japanese onigiri. Tangy sauce in rice, onsen semi-cooked egg does the trick.
Mexican rice bowl - heathy tasty fiesta, mix it well! Nice subtle spice kick on every bite.
Meatball sandwich- bread is toasted with right crisp out/ spongy in. The pea-based meatball could mix in some grounded mushrooms to really mimic meatball bite texture IMO, otherwise it’s a bit mushy. Overall flavor is excellent tho.
