★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great place for a short visit. Easy to get around, with many tour options on public busses(hop on, hop off options). Rent a scooter around Hualien station, to get around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place to get map and info about Taroko Gorge. It's just a few metres up the road from the train station. Go here before accepting one of the guides who will approach you as you exit station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't waste your time coming here. They understood English, but were very unhelpful and also laughed at us when we explained that we were concerned about snakes in the area. Very unprofessional. They have a free cold/warm/hot water dispenser though, which might be useful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice with a lot of information and brochures which can be especially useful for the first-time traveller. Found them to be quite helpful and knowledgeable as well. I signed up for the 东线观光之旅 through them. Honestly it was quite a good and worth it itinerary but the driver had abit of an attitude problem ... when some of us ask questions about pickup location for individual sites, he answered us as though he was scolding us ... baffled me quite abit because none of us were late.
