★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you like icecream with tea flavor - this is paradise! You have matcha icecream as well as other tea flavors (hojicha, genmaicha, gyokuro)! And they really taste like tea!
Other flavors and other things to eat are also there, but for me the tea icecream here are best in the world!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A matcha dessert place for matcha lovers. They have multiple levels of matcha flavors and have matcha drinks and desserts for you to choose from. Foreign credit card option was available. They also have sets for two which can come in handy for dates or even for friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place for a quick meal and dessert. Featuring japan rail travel so you get to see the travel posters on the wall. This place is famous for strong mocha ice creams - with No. 7 taste the strongest. Had No. 4 and liked it - recommended to ppl who don’t particularly view themselves as mocha addicted but rather just want to simply enjoy it. Had their chicken and it’s good also.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place to hangout. However, I am not quite sure during a normal day. We went here before the Chinese New Year and it was quite empty (in a good way). Trivia about it is that they offer an online coupon promo which gives you a point for every 100NTD purchase. In terms of service, I couldn't expect more. They were very nice. There are 7 levels of matcha based on its bitterness. I personally like #7 because the matcha flavor was really strong. They also offer dine in promos for groups of people. The drinks they serve were also not bad. The train pillows were very cute.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ JR East themed café with plenty of matcha items and JR memorabilias. The sundae was lovely, so was the matcha with milk foam (抹茶奶蓋). The peach ice cream for NT$90 was a bit pricey, the single ball portion was a size of a coin. 10% service fee applies on all dine-in orders.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On the first day of the lunar new year in 2021, I fought through tons of crowds in the department store. Finally arrived at this deep in the buildings.
The afternoon tea deal combines a set of 6 various of different flavors of matcha ice cream and two drinks of choices - coffee/lattes or teas. They were really delicious. We also ordered fried chickens and French fries! Indeed they're both Very satisfying! Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We got the ice creams of the day today (peach mango and no. 6 matcha). The matcha ice cream tasted really high end but also a bit bitter. The mango peach was alright but the baby enjoyed it. The portions are japanese sized and the prices are also authentically japanese. Would be interesting to get the 7 color take out but it's probably going to melt in this hot weather for take out .....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visit on a rainy Friday afternoon. The place was not busy, so no wait. Guests can be pampered with Japanese etiquette & service. The flavorful chicken vegetable curry rice set came with a cup of matcha and a scoop of ice cream, which is a special feature of the cafe, along with nice potato corn soup.
If you miss visiting Japan, taking JR around, and seeing Suica penguin as I do, then this is the place you should visit.
