They charged TWD400 for hair cut (shampoo included), price is reasonable so I gave a try. It all started when I let them know I was a tourist only and would not be a return customer.
Firstly, the stylist was lazy cutting hair for me, I suspected she did not even want to serve me. It did not look like my hair was cut after it was done, even I made request again.
The stylist asked me about my age specifically which I found it very offensive.
After that, I was moved to shampoo area, I was asked if the water was too hot when it was cold at all. I was fine to wash with cold water so replied okay, and then the water became hot. I wondered what if the temperature of water be if I replied cold. The stylist rugged my head rudely, all the bubbles and water went into my ears.
After hair browing, I was shocked the hair was messed up with no spilt when the stylist said it was done. I had to redo it by myself.
As a tourist, I do not know if it is a local standard, but it was actually a worse hair cutting experience. I did not complain at the salon just because I was scared something worse might happen, especially when someone was holding scissor and hot hair dryer around my head.
