★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice hiking area near Zhubei. Easy-to-follow trails. Mostly stairs: up & down. A bit close to the highway, but some nice vistas anyway. Good place to check out if you're looking for a different spot to hike.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a trail that connects the JinShi (Golden Lion) temple to the edge of city. So it is also possible to start from Hukou and indeed the information and direction of the trail can be found at the old street of Hukou and at SanYuan temple. Therefore, the large parking lot behind SanYuan Temple is also a good starting point. In fact, the place is full of trails, with the Renhe, Wannian, Jinshi, Hanqing trails, all being short and connected in one way or another. And it's good to use these trails as the Jinshi Trail is actually only 732m long.
