Staffs are fantastic. Free Late night dinner and 24 hours free snacks are available here. Never found such facility before in any other place. Very clean room and washroom.

good place , i was pretty amazed to learn that you can borrow bicycle to go around the city . The plus of the hotel was the free drinks and ice cream /food at night , i know why it's called Kindness hotel now ! :) Price for the room was attractive and room have some space too

Stayed 6 nights for Gungfu Training. Refreshments such as ice cream, coffee, cakes and tea are available 24/7. Breakfast was good, and night snack at the second floor was also good. Reasonable price. Last but not least, people working there are very nice and kind. Highly recommended.

Staff try their best to Japanese style hospitality, which they are quite good at. The room was immaculate and comfortable. The free self serve ice cream and cakes were a nice treat though the cakes are little more than flavored whipped cream. The free rental bikes were handy though could use some maintenance. The harbour view we paid for was only visible from the bath room.

Service is very good. Make you feel like home. Location is near train station. Free to riding bicycle is excellent. Breakfast & supper are tasty, especially enough when you're hungry! Willing to book for next holiday!

We had a great experience at this Kindness Hotel. We stayed here for a couple nights, and our experience was very good. The staff were super friendly this location near the Liuhe Night Market. Upon entering the hotel, the public spaces (lobby and restaurant) were very clean. While our room was non-smoking, The room and bathroom were both very spacious. The bed and pillows were firm, but comfortable. The hotel offered an extensive complimentary breakfast buffet with both western and Asian options.The variety of Chinese dishes on the buffet was especially impressive. The hotel restaurant also offers a complimentary snack buffet that included cakes, puddings, ice cream, tofu pudding, steamed pork buns, pork rice dumplings, juices and teas. You could even make it a light dinner if you weren't too picky and too tired to venture out for dinner. There is also a complimentary laundry room in the back of the restaurant area, with washers and dryers, and free detergent. Free bicycles are also available for hotel guests. The room also comes with free wifi, which was pretty good from our room on the 7th floor. The hotel is about 10 minute walk west from Formosa Blvd MRT station and 10 minutes east from the City Council MRT station. A 10 minute walk northeast brings you to the Liu He Night Market, which extends for several city blocks and has a variety of goods on offer, but the the fantastic food is what brings most people to the night market. I highly recommend this hotel when you are in Kaohsiung.
