La fossette has secured itself as the best they’ve had in Taiwan (and even better than many they’ve sampled in France) with its crisp caramelized crust and soft rum infused custard center.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You can get the best canele there, better than any French bakeries. The almond pastry and pound cake are delicious. The storefront is humble, the store is not fancy at all. There are not many pastry selections, but all of them are seriously amazing. I highly recommend it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very delicious canelé. Crispy outside, soft and creamy inside. The sweetness and a sense of wine is very well balanced for the tastebud. Reasonable price with good quality and quantity. My favorite part of this canelé is that it is very beautiful and perfect.
Nice food in a tiny store, don’t miss this one if you are looking for a taste of France here in Taipei. You’ll be very surprise and delighted to have one of this beautiful little thing.??
