I ordered spicy noodles but the order was missed and so I sat for ½hour waiting for my noodles. Texture of noodles was really good. The sauce was ok I guess. But you need to let the noodles sit for a while to soak the flavor in. So my first 2 mouthful was only so so. Maybe also because my side dishes that was so flavorful.
Maybe I will go back again because of the noodles... I dont know

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lan Fang is good but not rated at 3 stars or higher. They serve good noodles, good spicy combination in local tastes which quite stand out among local spicy restaurants. I can only rate it 3 stars for its unique tastes and enjoyable service. But Lan Fang does have good snacks, going with beer ?.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fairly speaking, the noodles itself is quite chewy. It's not too hard or tender. The side dishes are tasty as well, the flavor is quite rich in spite of coldly served, which proves that the runner of the restaurant is confident on the culinary technique applied to all side- dishes. It's indeed standing-out. Nevertheless, I do agree with some of previous reviewers that it's overcharged, I even think it's ripped-off. Take a regular kind of noodles for instance, it's just noodles mixed with green onion and oily sauce, that's all, but you will be charged NT$ 50. I may conclude that I will probably go to this restaurant again at some point for the side-dishes, and no more than that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sichuan pepper flavors appreciatly with a bit of dark vinegar. The noodles is a bit overcooked for me, but the stewed intestine is very tasty

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chilli oil is very nice here, rich in colour and flavour, not overly spicy with a bit of numbing sensation from the Sichuan chilli pepper. Great for people who likes to eat chilli.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very decent noodle shop with a variety of Taiwanese style beef dry noodles. They also have soup noodles with wontons. A nice variety of quality side dishes too. The signature beef noodle has a delicious chilli sauce, not too spicy though, and the noodles are just the right side of soft. The shop is very busy at lunchtimes although there wasn’t a line when I visited and the dining spaces are clean and organised. Overall a good value eater and quality tasty food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place to grab your noodles if you are a chili lover. The signature chili can be found in most dishes, not too spicy but just enough to bring out the flavor. The tofu soup is a must try on your first visit. Small seating area within the shop, but separation panel are provided during the pandemic. Friendly staffs and clean environment.
