★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the place to go for birthdays.. literally. Pretty much half the restaurant was there for a birthday. Restaurant is located on the 6th floor of bellavita.
The prime rib is really good. If you don't like fatty steak, this one was quite fatty. The French onion soup was different as they used cheddar cheese. It was like nachos for my soup. Still good though.
The kids menu is great and of good value. Both the burger and spaghetti was good. Suitable for kids and plenty of food. You get a drink, appetizer, main course and dessert for under $1,000nt.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They tried. They really did. The ambiance is appropriate but lighting is way too dark to produce good photos of their gorgeous stakes. I ordered the barbecue? Ribeye medium rare but it came back sort of medium and the meat was very firm and my friend ordered the California cut which was juicy and pretty good but the side dishes were not as creamy as they could have been. Maybe I'm just too used to the butter overload of the dishes in the United States so I find them somewhat lacking. Stay away from desserts. None of the desserts were up to par but they did come and sing me a birthday song so that rescue them from a one star to two stars. Oh and the waitress was extra awkward.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was just at Lawry's for my friends birthday party. Lawry's is just a great all-around restaurant with great service and consistently good food. This is one of my kids favorite restaurants and the frequently ask if we can go there for dinner. I love their prime rib, mashed potatoes and corn. They love to watch how the salads are prepared too :)
Great job Lawry's on being a consistently good restaurant with great service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a strong entry at this price point, with surprisingly flavorless prime rib (compared to even other Lawry’s outside of Taiwan) and OK-ish appetizers. Desserts with the sets were very good on the other hand and service was friendly and always available.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do NOT get the beef wellington. It was so overcooked the filet tasted like burger. The puff pastry was doughy and not crispy. I'm not trying to be picky, but at the prices they charge a level of expectation needs to be met.
Was also surprised the French onion soup seemed to use American cheese vs gruyere. I wonder if this is their usual or due to covid import issues so they couldn't get the right ingredients.
In all fairness the prime rib was indeed good and service was earnest. But the cost/quality of the food just wasn't there. Majorly disappointed.
