★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super local beef noodle place, fast turn over so don't have to wait so long and one of y favorite. In Taiwan everyone have their favorite place and favorite taste so you gota judge yourself. Noodle here is the darker sauce and the meat is the brisket. 330NTW per bowl. They also have this pig head meat and skin disk. Super great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Surprised to find another Liao beef noodle restaurant. Checked with the cook and then found out the difference. This is the original one. This one tastes better than the other Liao at Jin Hwa Street. Be prepared for lip service as that is not its feature. Come in, order your food, sit down, eat up, and pack up. The prices are quite fair given its volume. Its pickles are sweet. Very different taste. The interesting part is that most of the service crew are Vietnamese, including the cook?

The beef is very tender and taste so good. The special thing is they have added quite a lot of spinach, this really balance everything, and “looks” to be more healthy.
The small dishes are wonderful too with very reasonable price! I have K.O. the soya bean cube and the kelp in few minutes ??
The restaurant is not big enough, so don’t expect you will sit there for long time.
Though it’s a LOCAL Taiwanese food, weird that most of the staff are Vietnamese who cook such a good beef noodle! Must try if you love it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Light soup with chewy noodles (not too hard). Beef was tender and delicious. Dried tofu was awesome! Remember to add their chili sauce. A little bit expensive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'd say the broth is medium light in flavour, a little bit oilier than other places. I really liked their noodles. Beef was tender but nothing very special. As for condiments, the chili oil wasn't spicy at all and the preserved veg was rather plain. I rate beef noodle soup based on broth, beef and noodles; in that order. Would I repeat? Only if I happen to be in the neighborhood. It's a totally fine bowl but nothing to go out of my way for.
Funny "foreigner" story. Apparently if you order "beef noodle SOUP" in Mandarin, it doesn't come with beef ?. It's just "beef noodle" if you want the beef. Oh and eat it like the locals, with bites of raw garlic. That's why there's a bowl of cloves on the table.
Price $260 for beef noodles and a plate of vegetables.
