Definitely recommend it!!

Thomas was a very engaging & informed tour guide who showed us some of the places where significant events that shaped Taiwan history occurred. Great way to learn about the area & fun way to meet other travelers. Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great free tour, top 3 for me out of dozens of tours I've done in different countries. Lots of information about history, culture, politics and the city. Really liked hearing the young guide's personal stance on current politics. I later also did the tour in Kaohsiung and Tainan but they were not nearly as good as the Taipei one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great insights from the inside! Went for two of the tours available! With the timing of the tour being on the cusp of the Taipei elections, the atmosphere was politically charged for all the right reasons.
What I like about this was the connectedness with the local life. Not the general overview which can be found from Wikipedia and the mainstream media but honest opinions from the next generation.
Thank you to Joyce, Nicole, Christine and Lili for making us feel like one of you. :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The most authentic experience you can find in Taiwan. The tour guide was eloquent and did not avoid any complex or controversial part of the history. It is always nice to hear the most truthful opinions from a local guide.
