Lishan Jesus Church is located at an altitude of 2011 meters above sea level. It is the highest church in the country. It was built by the former President Jiang Gong and his wife Song Meiling. It was completed on December 25, 1969 and was registered as a historic building in Taichung City in 2014. The architectural style The Gothic church building is adopted. Six camellia plants are planted on the left and right sides of the doorway. A total of twelve plants represent the twelve disciples of Jesus. The building also incorporates local Atayal decorations. The pillars have Atayal totem patterns and pears. Mountain Jesus Church brings a unique style! Lishan Jesus Church was abandoned for many years after the 921 earthquake in 1999. It was only briefly repaired in 2019. There is a small parking lot in front of Jesus Church. There is also a toilet and viewing platform on the left side. It is a good resting spot on the way to Fushoushan Farm. A promise platform where couples can promise each other, ring the bell of happiness, and enjoy the beautiful surrounding scenery!

I went there on 12/16, because it was under construction, so I couldn't enter the door ?... I could only take pictures across the fence. Lishan Jesus Church was built in 1991. It is the highest church in Taiwan. It is worth visiting if you have the opportunity!
