Liuliao Historic Trail

The Liuliao Ancient Trail is one of the six trails in the Lion's Head Mountain Scenic Area, with a total length of 2.5 kilometers. The six trails in the Shenshan National Scenic Area starting from the Shishan Tourist Center include: Shishan Ancient Road, Liuliao Ancient Road, Tengping Trail, Wanfo'an Trail, Shuilian Bridge Trail and Shuiliandong Trail. Most of the Liuliao Ancient Roads have been changed to asphalt pavements, and there is no ancient meaning to them. There are olive trees and cherry blossoms on both sides of a certain section of the road, and there is not much scenery throughout. Fortunately, there is Liuliao Stream beside the road, and the sound of flowing water will not make the hiking of the Liuliao Ancient Road too boring. However, there are warning signs of flash floods beside Liuliao River, so you must pay attention to safety. Liuliao Ancient Road can form an O-shaped ring with Tengping Ancient Road. When walking the Liuliao Ancient Road alone, you can pass the Parent-Child Pavilion and Pakong Temple to reach the Qixing Sacred Tree, or you can continue the Shishan Ancient Road to the Qixing Pavilion. There are residents and vehicles on Liuliao Ancient Road, so be careful.
