Best beef noodles in Taiwan ?

Best beef noodle I have tasted so far! The beef is succulent and soft, it melts in my mouth. The beef stock is a bit herbal but light ... I slurp every bit of it... Will certainly come again on my next visit to Yilan.

I don’t really like it. The egg is expensive and not so delicious. And the soup of beef noodle is salty that I felt thirsty after I ate it.

One of my community neighbors drove all the way from Toufen to Toucheng before the restaurant opens at 11 am for the three pearl (beef, tendon and tripe) noodle soup. He was nice enough to get a take away for me. Yes, indeed, it’s one of the best beef noodle soup I ever had. No wonder it’s closed on Sunday and people line up before the restaurant opens at 11 am. Strongly recommend any beef noodle soup fan to put this as one of must visit spot.

They started business at 11:10 am. We visited at around 1pm and the most popular dishes were sold out. Luckily, they still had some irregular portions left and they offered us a taster platter! Yummy! Each bowl of noodles contained 3 thick slices of beef at least 1cm thick.

I came to the restaurant on 5th March 2021 for lunch with my wife. It's a famous restaurant for beef noodles that I knew on the internet. When I went here approx at am11:00, it surprises me that so many people waiting over the gateway. After five minutes, the restaurant starts to business, so everyone keeps a line to order at the counter. We order two bowls of three treasures beef noodles and two side dishes. The three treasures beef noodles cost 280 NT dollars for each bowl, so I think it's not cheap for beef noodles. When I taste the soup of beef, I can feel some light Chinese herbs in it. Then I taste the beef shank, and it's easy to chew, but it diced too huge let me feel greasy immediately. The beef tripe diced too huge too, and it's hard to chew, so it should be careful of elders. The Beef tendon taste is good. The environment of the restaurant is clean and light. All in all, in my opinion, the taste of beef noodles is over the average. But it does not worth me to purposely coming to visit again. Because of the feel greasy continues for me for hours.
